91做厙 was named to the 2025 by Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society. The list recognizes 251 colleges and universities that demonstrate institutional commitment and investment of resources to support transfer students.

We are honored to once again be named to the PTK Transfer Honor Roll, a recognition of 郭棗聆棗梭硃s unwavering commitment to recruiting and supporting transfer students at every stage of their enrollment, said Andrew Cevasco, 11, M.A. 16, senior director of undergraduate admission. In recent years, we have strengthened outreach, expanded affordability initiatives, and enhanced academic and personal support to ensure transfer students thrive. As we anticipate a year of record transfer enrollment, we know their diverse experiences and perspectives greatly enrich our campus, and we remain deeply dedicated to fostering their success.

郭棗聆棗梭硃s transfer enrollment has been increasing in recent years, with record numbers of incoming transfer students. The University welcomed roughly 30 transfers in Spring 2025 and expects to welcome about 70 transfer students in Fall 2025, for a total of approximately 100 new transfers between the two semesters.

Loyola offers Transfer Transitions: Loyola 101 for New Transfer Students, a one-credit seminar designed to familiarize transfer students with 郭棗聆棗梭硃s community and the city of Baltimore. Developed by current Loyola transfer students for new transfer students, this seminar class offers the opportunity for new transfer students to meet campus community members, attend on- and off-campus events, and learn more about how Loyola and Baltimore can support their academic, co-curricular, and career goals.

Additional resources include 郭棗聆棗梭硃s Academic Advising and Support Center, which guides students through their education, as well as academic tutoring and coaching and an award-winning career center.

Loyola also offers a dedicated Transfer Welcome Weekend. Recognizing that transfer students have likely experienced orientation at their previous institutions, this program primarily aims to welcome them and ease their transition to 91做厙. Transfer Welcome Weekend provides opportunities for new transfer students to meet and interact with fellow transfers, current students, administrators, and faculty members.

郭棗聆棗梭硃s , overseen by the Office of Student Leadership and Involvement, is a collaborative network of new and returning transfer students intended to foster community and provide continuous support to transfer students of all backgrounds. The organization hosts monthly social and educational events for all transfer students to increase their sense of belonging at Loyola.

Our partnership with organizations like Phi Theta Kappa helps us to continue to grow the transfer student presence here at Loyola, said Meredith Good, MBA '25, associate director for transfer admission and special populations. Providing a smooth and seamless transition for transfer students has always been our priority, and every incoming transfer student receives support tailored to their academic journey. As our transfer population grows, its exciting to see how successful these students are during their subsequent years at Loyola, and how much they contribute to our dynamic community.
