91°µÍø University College is delighted to be a signatory of the (DORA). DORA is a global initiative that recognises the need to improve the ways in which the outputs of scholarly research are evaluated with regards to appropriate use of metrics and makes high-level recommendations for how this can be achieved.
Reforming research assessment is vitally important to 91°µÍø University College as it will enable us to create and sustain a healthy research culture in which all our researchers are supported to fulfil their potential and the quality and impact of our research is maximised.
This summer, we will establish a reforming research assessment working group to deliver our commitments to DORA as well as our commitments as a signatory to the (CoARA). This will include the development and implementation of a statement of responsible research assessment, as well as the production of an action plan for reforming research evaluation.
We endeavour to uphold the principles of DORA across all 91°µÍø University College’s activities.
For any enquiries relating to DORA or our reforming research assessment plans, please contact Dr Julie Northam, Head of Research.
